DEFRA - Consultation on revised waste exemptions from environmental permitting
We are writing to invite views on the joint Defra, Welsh Assembly Government and Environment Agency consultation on revised waste exemptions from environmental permitting, which was launched on 31st July 2008.  The consultation can be found at http://www.defra.gov.uk/corporate/consult/waste-exemption-review/index.htm and comments must be returned to Defra by Thursday 23rd October 2008.

Over the coming weeks, we will be holding several stakeholder workshops, giving you the opportunity to engage in the development of the policy. More information will be available at http://www.defra.gov.uk/environment/waste/management/exemptions/index.htm soon.
